A beer with a view of the sands
Andrews Bar and Indris Restaurant are situared just across the road from the sand of St Georges Bay. The outside tables provide a view of the sands which were imported fromthe Lebanon, of the Villa Rosa gardens and of St Julians resort at the south end of the beach. Andrews is at the far right of this picture of the bay
After an hour in the sea or on the beach, just retreat to one of the outside, brolly protected tables. There is always the full food menu available, and a refreshing Amber Ale will help you cool down. And when the sun goes down you can relax with an Amber Ale or a Blond Ale or a Strong Golden Ale.
In the evening there's eating both outside and inside in "Indris Restaurant". Andrews is open for food and drink from 8.30am every day. The kitchen closes at 11pm.
Andrews also offers holiday accomodation directly above the bar and restaurant - for details see The accommodation page of Andrews bar website
They now offer Bruegel, Augustijn Blond and Duvel. They also have Farsons excellent new Simonds Special Amber Ale
On 19th June 2009 Andrews celebrated 100 years (see picture above) as a family business serving food and drinks firstly to British soldiers from the then near-by barracks and now to a mixture of regular locals and regular tourists and to new customers many who become regulars.
